
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) has sanctioned ₹65 lakh under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for setting up the Intelligent and Open Computing Centre (IOC Centre) at the Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute for Basic Sciences (SRIBS), π Hills ,8th Mile, Pampady. The centre is intended to strengthen computational and AI-driven research by providing students, teachers and researchers with access to advanced computing tools. It will support studies in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, while also promoting interdisciplinary innovation. The project includes the creation of a dedicated computational lab, installation of high performance computing facilities and development of specialized training programmes.
