The Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute for Basic Sciences (SRIBS) commemorated eminent structural biologist and Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Prof. Ada E. Yonath, whose association and support have been an integral part of the institution’s journey. She was the Chief Guest at the official inauguration of SRIBS, served as a member of its Advisory Board, and delivered the keynote address at the 2013 National Colloquium. Recalling her invaluable contributions, Director Dr. C. H. Suresh described her presence and support as a golden chapter in SRIBS’s history.
